Introduction of Dingpu Station

We were supposed to conduct the interview with the station manager of Dingpu Station but because the station manager took long vacation, so we interviewed the deputy station manager instead. The deputy station manager also knows Dingpu Station very well.

We found out many features of Dingpu from the interview and the incidents occurred during the excavation process. After the interview, the deputy station manager took us to visit different places. One thing impressed me the most was the "Eye of Hall" because it is located on top of the escalator and lights up Dingpu Station with natural lighting. I thought it was lit from a regular lightbulb but the source of lighting actually came from the division island on the road in front of Exit No. 3. I have never really noticed this special lighting equipment.

The other "Flying-Starting Dreams" also amazed me. It looked like an ordinary elevator but I didn't know it could be embellished with such decorations. The dragon twining around the elevator looks very lively and vivid.

The LED "Tong Blossom Wall" integrates the features of Tucheng, "Tong Blossom," which is even more highlighted and beautiful under the lighting of LED lights. This wall was not intended for glamorous design but only a simple cross on top. But then the tong blossom wall was added to enhance aesthetics.

The design concept of Exit No 2 imitates the entrance of Haishan Mine in the early days. In spite of the insignificant look, the view of the infinite blue sky and white cloud through the glass window is absolutely relaxed and pleasant.

Not only have I found out about the difficulties encountered in the excavation process from the visit to Dingpu Station but also the implications and design concepts of various installation arts. I could even more realistically perceive the beauty of Dingpu Station, bringing more convenience for the residents near Dingpu Station. Tourists visiting this area will also more profoundly experience the food and fund at Dingpu.
